I’ve been looking for a good Christmas music album. I didn’t have one in my collection before but I really wanted to have at least one to get me into the Spirit of the Season. Well… I found it. And who would have guessed: it’s Stephen Colbert’s handiwork. Well, him and a few special guest… and a surprisingly melodious John Stewart. You wouldn’t expect him to sing that well.

You probably never heard of Têtes à Claques. It’s one of the most popular Francophone sites on the Web, showing short, funny clips made by syncing video of someone’s eyes and mouth to the faces of dolls. The new, beta site has the clips in widescreen, full screen and added the option of subtitles. There’s another new feature that you might be interested in : some clips are now available in English. Known simply as TAC.tv in English, the site offers, at this point, 12 clips from the past and present of the French site. While I love listening the French-Canadian accent from the original clips, the English ones are pretty funny. Visit the beta site at beta.tac.tv.
I’m slowly becoming less and less busy these days. The secret project I’ve been working on for the past couple of months is almost done so I’m working on finishing the site redesign. It won’t be with Freeway but it’ll still be pretty.
I don’t talk much about my favorite TV show, LOST, but after The Shape of Things to Come, I just had to say something.
That was amazing. Ben popping up in the middle of the desert in a “Halliwax” coat, Jack getting sick, Daniel’s daughter’s dead (and her too, maybe), Smokey’s return and that final threat. If this had to be the season finale, I would have been a happy man.
Which is exactly the best part about the whole situation : It isn’t and the finale will be a three-hour, two-week extravaganza. And there’s still two seasons.
Work, work, work! Sorry for not posting in a while. I’ve been busy. To top it off, my Mac’s been acting funny and I think I’m going to have to do an Archive and Install. Fun, fun!
It’s here. it’s (finally) done. Enjoy.
First off, Apple expands it’s iTunes Plus line up and drops the price to 99 cents (also in Canada – thank you strong dollar!) making their better quality, DRM free tracks the same price as their normal tracks. Now, where’s my refund Steve Jobs?
Second off, Its official : Apple will let 3rd party apps on the iPhone and on the iPod touch. That’s happening next year.
And finally, and most importantly : Steven Colbert is going for President! Colbert ’08! Woo!

I never thought I’d ever say those words. I just traded in a couple of games today at EB Games. I was planing on getting Sonic Rush Adventures but, unfortunately, that’s coming next week. I did get 5 free song downloads for each of the 3 games I traded in. What’s interesting it the fact that the cards are refereed to as UNI PT CRD 5 SONG on my receipt. And the site you go to to redeem the songs has a link to umusic.ca, a Universal Music Canada site. So that means I get to download 15 songs free on Universal’s tab. But the best part is that I can even download non-Universal songs. I’m planing on getting Coldplay’s “Everything’s Not Lost” since it’s an “Album Only” song on iTunes. So again, thanks Universal!
