Doomsday

In DS, iTunes/iPod on September 28, 2007 at 8:35 am

14 hours, 30 minutes and 53 seconds to go.

Guess what. It’s still not shipped. Fortunately, there’s other stuff I can do today to get my mind off the blatent betrayal orchestrated by Apple. I got a bit of work. I could should update EON. I also got and finished the main game of Sonic Rush Adventures. There is still a lot more to do but I think I’ll wait a bit. My left thumb is killing me.

In Other News…

In Apple, DS, iTunes/iPod, Wii on August 28, 2007 at 8:21 pm

Well, now the September 5th event has been confirmed. Let the new iPods roll in!

In some less important news, I preordered Galaxy, THE Wii game this holiday, although some might debate that that title goes to Brawl. I also bought Godfather since I realy liked it when I rented it and EA lowered the price for the Summer. I also got Brain Age 2. Hey, It has some good Sudoku and it’s only $20. Hopefuly, I can get my Brain Age under 55. Uck..

All-in-one

In DS, Wii on July 30, 2007 at 8:55 pm

Since I no longer use the-alt.net for my reviews, I created two pages where you can view some of my Wii and DS reviews. Check them out on the menu bar of the blog.

Coming Up!

In DS, Wii on July 19, 2007 at 7:30 pm

I’m off again next week although I should be able to get some Internet access where I’m going. Just so you know, I have my review of Harry Potter for Wii all done. I just need to check a couple of things before I can post it. I’m also playing Sim City DS so I might review it too. I might do a video review of Paper Mario and I will probably do one for Boogie so keep an eye out for that. And as always, check out my web comic, EON, at the-alt.net (or directly at eonen.smackjeeves.com).

What Did I Miss?

In Apple, DS, Wii on July 15, 2007 at 12:07 pm

Two weeks. Nearly no Internet access. I entirely missed E3. I have more spam than a supermarket. I might crash Google Reader if I access it. Geting up to speed might take a while.

DS 2?

In DS on April 22, 2007 at 10:32 pm

I’ve been checking out the Nintendo-related pages on Wikipedia and it seems that the GBA got released March 21st in 2001 (In Japan) and the DS, November 21st 2004 (In North America). So that’s about 3 years and a half between the two launches. So, November of 2004 to April 2007 : That’s two years and about a half. I’ve been thinking : Would it be realistic to learn something about the DS’s sucessor in 2008? It would seem as that would be about the right time to start thinking of the future althought Nintendo can still ride the DS money train for some time. It’s not like the PSP is offering much competition.

Agents Aren’t GO!

There comes a time when you look at something that’s sooo wrong yet sooo right. This VG Cats EBA strip is exactly that.

Going for Gold

In DS, Wii on March 28, 2007 at 3:08 pm

Mario : The most famous plumber ever.
Sonic : The most famous hedgehog ever.
The Olympics : The most important Sports event ever.

Three things I like, all squeezed into a DS and Wii game. This should be interesting.

Apparently, Game Access is in Upside-Down, Québec.

In DS on March 23, 2007 at 2:40 pm

Yay! Another filler game. Game Access requires you to have 10 games on your “Wanted” list at all times. I don’t have that many games that I really want so I put “filler” games on my list. The last one, Uno 52 for DS, in the #10 spot on my list, just got shipped to me. The Godfather was also a filler game, albeit a more desirable one, that, I believe, was also at the bottom of my list. And all my games seem to be available according to the meter on their site. Really, WTF?

Rental Review Round 1 Over

In DS, Wii on March 18, 2007 at 5:04 pm

Yes, I’m done. I played both Chibi-Robo and Cooking Mama. They were both pretty fun. I’m also done with the Rental Review for Chibi-Robo. You can catch it on the-alt.net . That means I’m done with both my rented games! Cooking Mama is already in the mail and Chibi-Robo will probably be leaving tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed to get Wii games this time (although, I wouldn’t mind trying out Spectrobes for the DS).
